Celebrate Light Returns to First Christian Church El Centro

First Christian Church El Centro is excited to once again host its annual Celebrate Light event on Saturday, October 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the church parking lot. This free community celebration, coordinated each year by Mark Jones with the support of the entire First Christian Church congregation, has become a much-loved tradition in El Centro.

Celebrate Light is designed with a clear purpose—to give back to the community and create meaningful connections with our town. Families and friends are invited to enjoy an evening full of fun and fellowship featuring exciting raffles, classic games, candy, delicious food, live music, and plenty of surprises. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite western attire and join in the joyful atmosphere that makes this event so special.

Celebrate Light Volunteers!

We will be having a Volunteer Luncheon on Sunday, October 19th after the 2nd service. This will be an important time to go over details and information for Celebrate Light, so please make plans to join us!

If you haven’t signed up to volunteer yet, we’d love for you to be part of this amazing outreach event!

You can sign up Sundays at the Connection Center or during the week at the church office (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am–4:30 pm).

First Christian Church of El Centro is excited to invite you to "Celebrate Light," a free community event designed for all ages! Join us on Sunday, October 27th, from 5 PM to 8 PM in our parking lot at 450 S. Waterman Ave. Experience a carnival-like atmosphere with a plethora of games, live music, raffles, a mechanical bull, bounce houses, delicious food, and plenty of candy. It's a night of fun, fellowship, and festivity that you won't want to miss. Bring your family and friends and come enjoy the light with us! See you there!
